Ornate Mediterranean Double Entry Door With Decorative Glass and Ironwork
Overview
Design of a Alabama wrought iron steel frame with minimalist design for minimalist homes. With weathered copper.
Description
The door is a double entry door made of wood with a dark brown stain. Each door panel features a decorative glass insert with an intricate, curvilinear metal design. Flanking the double doors are sidelights with similar glass and metal detailing. Above the doors is a large, semicircular transom window, also with a decorative metal grid pattern radiating outwards from the center. The metal framework around the doors and transom is dark, likely wrought iron or a similar metal. The entire door assembly is set within a light beige or cream-colored stucco archway, trimmed with a slightly projecting molding. The style is ornate and classical, suggesting Mediterranean or Tuscan influences. A rectangular coir doormat with a dark diamond pattern sits in front of the doors on a light-colored stone or tile porch.
