Craftsman Style Entry Door With Wrought Iron and Arched Transom Window
Overview
Design of a Alaska wrought iron double with industrial grid design for french provincial homes. With weathered copper.
Description
The entrance features a dark-colored, possibly black or dark bronze, door system with an elaborate design. The main central door is flanked by two narrower sidelight doors, all set within a matching frame. Each door section features a decorative wrought-iron-style design with vertical rectangular glass panels. The central door has a solid lower panel and an upper section with a grid of small rectangular panes. The sidelight doors have similar solid lower panels and taller, narrower glass panels above. Above the doors is a large, arched transom window with a more intricate wrought-iron-style grille pattern that radiates outwards. The door hardware includes long, vertical handles on the main door and smaller handles on the sidelights. The architectural style appears to be modern with craftsman influences. The house façade surrounding the door is a combination of light tan horizontal siding and stone veneer. Outdoor lanterns flank the door, providing illumination. The entrance is accessed by a concrete walkway with dark landscaping stones on either side, featuring small, conical evergreen trees in black planters.
