Wrought Iron and Wood Door With Grape Vine Design in Arched Stone Frame

Overview

Design of a California wine cellar door with design for southwestern homes.

Description

The door is made of wood, framed by wrought iron, and features a central circular design with radiating lines. The ironwork also includes grape vine motifs with leaves and bunches of grapes. The door is set within an arched stone frame. Above the arch is a section of stucco wall. Three evenly spaced, cylindrical wooden beams protrude from the stucco above the arch. The building's exterior is a peach color. The roof is tiled in a reddish-brown color. Two windows with dark frames are located on either side of the door. Potted plants, including succulents and grasses, are placed on either side of the steps leading to the door. The steps are made of stone and lead to a stone-paved area. A hanging lantern is positioned directly above the door.
