Mediterranean Style Wood Double Door With Arched Transom and Wrought Iron Grille
Overview
Design of a Colorado wrought iron arched single with geometric pattern design for tuscan homes. With weathered copper.
Description
A double entry door set within an arched opening. The door is made of wood, stained in a medium to dark brown. Each door leaf features an upper section with a rectangular glass pane and a decorative wrought iron grille overlay. Below the glass panel, there are two raised panels, the lower one being larger. The door hardware includes dark-colored handles. Above the door, there is a large arched transom window, also with a decorative wrought iron grille. The door frame and arched surround are constructed of the same wood as the door. The doorway is set into a stucco wall, painted in a warm beige or light brown tone. The base of the wall is clad in stacked stone in varying shades of brown, gray, and tan. Flanking the doorway are two black lanterns mounted on the wall. Black planters containing green plants are positioned on either side of the entrance. A doormat with an oval design is placed in front of the door. The architectural style evokes Mediterranean or Tuscan design.
