Description
The door is a rich, medium-toned brown wood, possibly walnut or cherry. It features a raised panel design, with the top two-thirds of the door exhibiting intricate, ornate carvings in a floral and scroll pattern. The bottom third is a simple, flat raised panel. A slim, silver-toned mail slot is positioned horizontally in the center of the lower panel, just below the carved section. A vertical, silver-toned handle is located on the left side of the door. The door is framed by a substantial white architectural surround. This surround consists of two fluted columns on either side of the door, supporting a wide, decorative entablature above. The entablature has a layered design with various moldings and a cornice. The door is set within a shallow porch or entryway. Below the door are three wide, shallow steps made of light gray stone or concrete. The steps lead down to ground level, where there is a patch of green grass. The surrounding wall is a light gray, with white trim around the windows visible on either side of the door. The architectural style appears to be neoclassical or traditional.
