Dark Wood Plank Door With Arched Transom and Decorative Sidelights

Overview

Design of a Connecticut wrought iron single with geometric pattern design for japanese zen homes. With graphite.

Description

The door is a dark, likely black or charcoal grey, possibly made of wood or metal with a vertical plank design. It features a rectangular peephole or viewing slot near the center. Above the door is a large, arched transom window with an intricate wrought iron design. Flanking the main door are two narrower sidelights featuring multiple panes of clear glass with decorative diamond patterns in some sections. The entire door assembly is framed in the same dark color. The entryway is set within an arched alcove, painted in a light cream or off-white color. Above the archway, dark eaves or overhangs are visible. On either side of the door, mounted on the wall, are traditional-style outdoor lanterns with a dark finish. The surrounding walls are smooth and painted in the same light cream color as the archway. The walkway leading to the door is paved with small white stones, and a rectangular doormat is placed directly in front of the door. Green shrubbery flanks the walkway on either side.
