Arched Light Blue Double Doors With Iron Grille and Lavender Wreath
Overview
Design of a blue front door with design for french provincial homes.
Description
The door is a double door, constructed of painted wood in a shade of light blue. Each door has a large rectangular panel below, framed by vertical molding. The upper portion of each door curves into an arch shape. Within each arched section, there is an ironwork grille featuring a floral and scroll design. A wreath made of dried lavender, eucalyptus, and other foliage is hung at the center of the doors, secured with a cream-colored ribbon bow at the top. Two lion head door knockers are affixed to the doors, one on each side, at approximately the same level. Below the lion head knockers are two matching, ornate, brass-colored door handles, one on each door. The door frame is arched and made of light beige stone. Fluted pilasters frame the door on either side.
