Distressed Turquoise Chevron Wood Door With Copper Knocker and Hydrangeas

Overview

Design of a green front door with design for coastal homes.

Description

The door is a solid, vertically-oriented wooden structure, painted in a distressed light green or turquoise color. The door's design features a chevron pattern, created by diagonally arranged planks of wood. The planks run from the center of the door outwards towards the top and bottom, forming a symmetrical V-shape. The door is framed by white trim and is flanked by two narrow, vertical windows with white frames. Above the door is a curved transom window with a decorative, stained-glass-like design. A large, circular copper door knocker with a twisted rope handle is mounted in the center of the door. A dark bronze-colored handle and lock mechanism is on the left side of the door. A rectangular coir doormat with a black seashell design is placed in front of the door. Two large blue ceramic pots filled with blue and white hydrangeas and trailing greenery are positioned on either side of the door. The exterior of the building features white shingle siding.
