Teal Wooden Door With Star Design, Circular Window, and Lion's Head Knocker
Overview
Design of a navy blue front door with design for spanish colonial homes.
Description
The door is a dark teal color and constructed from wood. It is paneled with a large, geometric, star-shaped design in the lower half. The upper half features a circular window with a decorative iron grill in a floral pattern. A lion's head knocker is centrally located below the circular window. A simple, dark metal handle is on the left side of the door. The door is set within an arched doorway. The arch is constructed from red bricks. A row of small, round, decorative tiles with a blue and white floral pattern lines the inside of the brick arch. On either side of the door are decorative columns made of a light tan stone. The columns are carved with a grape vine motif and topped with ornate capitals. A row of the same blue and white decorative tiles runs down the inside edge of each column, adjacent to the door. On the wall, flanking the door, are two identical, dark metal lanterns. At the base of each column is a large terracotta pot containing a flowering plant with red blossoms. The pots are decorated with raised designs. The wall is a textured, light brown color.
