Arched Wooden Entrance Door With Iron Grille and Lion Knocker
Overview
Design of a orange front door with design for spanish colonial homes.
Description
The door is a paneled, arched wooden entrance with a warm orange stain. It is flanked by two narrow side panels, each containing a vertical, arched window with ornate black ironwork grilles. The main door panel features a square window near the top, also with similar black ironwork. Below the square window is a lion's head door knocker, centrally located. The door is decorated with rows of small, evenly spaced, round metal studs. The doorframe is made of rough-hewn timber, arranged in an arch above the door, supported by vertical beams on either side. The timber frame is light brown in color and shows visible grain. Above the doorframe, there is a partial view of a decorative roof overhang with curved terracotta tiles and exposed wooden supports. The door is set into a white stucco wall. At the base of the door is a curved step made of irregular, light-colored stones. There are terracotta pots filled with red geraniums on either side of the step.
