Overview
Design of a orange front door with design for victorian homes.
Description
The door is a vibrant orange color and is constructed of wood. It features intricate carved detailing on the upper portion, consisting of symmetrical scrolled designs and floral motifs. A lion's head door knocker is centrally positioned. Below the knocker is a rectangular mail slot. The lower section of the door has a recessed square panel design. Flanking the main door are two narrow side panels with decorative, dark metal grilles. Above the door is a semi-circular transom window with leaded glass in a geometric pattern. The door frame is composed of light-colored stone. Two columns with Corinthian capitals support an arched stone lintel above the transom window. The lintel is ornamented with carved foliage. The doorway is set within a brick facade with alternating bands of red brick and light-colored stone. Three stone steps lead up to the doorway. Two potted fern plants sit on the top step, one on each side of the door.
