Arched Pink Plank Door With Lion Knocker in Stone Archway

Overview

Design of a pink front door with design for spanish colonial homes.

Description

The door is arched and constructed of vertical wooden planks. The door is painted a light pink color. There are three sets of decorative black iron hinges or straps attached to the door's surface. Centered on the door is a circular, bronze-colored door knocker shaped like a lion's head. Below the knocker is a bronze-colored keyhole and a matching lever-style door handle. The door is set within a tan stone archway. The archway is decorated with a repeating spiral pattern carved into the stone. Above the archway is a small overhang of curved terracotta tiles. The wall surrounding the door is white stucco. Two terracotta pots filled with pink and orange flowering plants flank the door. The paving in front of the door is made of irregular reddish-brown flagstones.
