Design of a purple front door with design for georgian homes.
Description
The door is a dark purple, rectangular, paneled door. It has five panels, four rectangular and one square, arranged symmetrically. A brass lion head knocker is centered on the top panel. A brass mail slot is located on the lower center of the door. The door is flanked by two narrow, white-framed sidelights. On either side of the sidelights are dark purple, fluted pilasters with ornate Corinthian capitals. Above the door and sidelights is a white transom with a fanlight design consisting of radiating white bars. Above the transom is a dark purple entablature and pediment. The entablature consists of a plain frieze and cornice. The pediment is triangular with a simple molding. The door is set into a brick wall. Two antique-style lanterns are mounted on the brick wall, one on each side of the door. A black wrought iron fence is visible in the foreground. Two potted topiary shrubs are placed on the steps leading to the door. The steps are concrete.
