Overview
Design of a purple front door with design for spanish colonial homes.
Description
The door is a double door with an arched top, painted in a muted purple color. Each door panel features an upper section with a metal scrollwork design incorporating floral and leaf motifs over glass. Below the glass, each door panel has a solid wood section with a carved flower design. A bronze-colored handle is on the right door, and a decorative bronze-colored knocker is on the left door. The door frame is composed of stone pillars on either side and an arched stone lintel above, featuring a carved emblem at the apex of the arch. The wall surrounding the door is textured white stucco, with horizontal bands of exposed brick on either side of the door frame. Above the door, a small overhang is supported by wooden beams, covered with terracotta-colored curved tiles. Two large terracotta pots, each containing pink bougainvillea plants, flank the door at ground level. The ground is paved with irregular reddish-brown stones.
