The door is red and made of wood. It has a circular stained-glass window in its upper portion. The window contains circular and floral patterns in blue, yellow, green, and clear glass. A brass lion's head knocker is centered below the window. A brass handle is on the right side of the door. The door is set within a semi-circular archway made of light-colored stone. The archway is decorated with carved floral and leaf patterns. Two stone pillars with carved capitals flank the door. Each pillar is topped with a stone sculpture of a griffin. The surrounding wall is made of rough-hewn stone. Vines grow on the stone wall around the archway. The walkway leading to the door is paved with gray cobblestones. The door is comprised of two vertical panels below the circular window. Carved wooden ornamentation is located on either side of the door, between the door and the pillars.
