Arched Red Wood Door With Decorative Wrought Iron and Stone Frame
Overview
Design of a red front door with design for spanish colonial homes.
Description
The door is arched, solid wood, and painted a deep red. It is divided into eight rectangular panels on each leaf, with each panel outlined by a raised molding. Each panel is adorned with a brass stud at each corner. A decorative, wrought-iron design is centered on the upper half of each leaf. The door has two vertical handles in a brass finish. The doorframe is a light-colored stone or plaster with an ornate, raised floral and vine pattern. A rectangular frame sits atop the arched opening, also with floral and vine carvings. Two wrought-iron lanterns flank the doorway, one on each side. They are a dark, aged bronze color and have clear glass panels. Above the doorframe is a section of roof with terracotta tiles. The wall surrounding the door is a textured, light beige color. A blue ceramic pot containing green plants with orange flowers sits to the left of the door. The ground in front of the door is paved with irregular stone tiles in shades of brown and tan.
