Description
a double door painted in a deep red color, set within an elaborate architectural frame. The doors themselves are panelled, each with two rectangular panels. The door hardware includes two brass handles, and there is a brass strike plate on one door. Above the doors is a semicircular transom window with stained glass in a sunburst pattern with panes of green, blue and clear glass. The entire door frame, including the columns on either side, the arch above the transom window, and the lintel above the arch, is also painted the same red color. The columns are fluted and feature ornate carvings along their inner edges, and corbels at the top. The lintel is highly decorated with carvings. The door is set into a stone wall, and there are two outdoor lanterns, one on each side of the door, attached to the wall. The wall is constructed of light gray roughly cut stones.
