Mediterranean Double Door With Ironwork, Arched Transom, and Stone Pillars
Overview
Design of a Hawaii wrought iron glass paneled with classic scrollwork design for mountain lodge homes. With weathered copper.
Description
A grand entryway featuring a double door made of dark stained wood. The doors are paneled, with rectangular glass inserts framed by decorative black ironwork. Flanking the double doors are sidelights, also with glass and similar ironwork. Above the doors is a large arched transom window filled with elaborate black iron scrollwork. The entryway is set within a stucco archway, supported by stone pillars. The stucco is a light beige or tan color. The stone pillars are composed of irregularly shaped, multi-colored stones. Black sconce lights are mounted on either side of the archway. The threshold is made of a light-colored paving stone, with a small brown doormat in front of the doors. The architecture suggests a Mediterranean or Tuscan style.
