Elegant Black Paneled Door With Sidelights, Fluted Columns, and Stone Facade
Overview
Design of a Illinois single with geometric pattern design for minimalist homes. With brushed steel.
Description
The door is a solid, dark-colored, possibly black, rectangular design with three recessed rectangular panels. The top panel is larger than the two below it. A large, ornate, circular ring knocker is centered on the top panel. The door is flanked by two narrow, vertical sidelights filled with clear glass, allowing a view of the exterior. Above the door is a horizontal transom window, also with clear glass. The door frame and sidelight frames are the same dark color as the door. The entire door assembly is set within a larger, white-painted frame supported by two substantial, fluted, white columns. The columns are topped with a simple, square capital and support a white pediment above. The entrance is set into a stone facade, with textured, multi-colored stones in shades of grey, beige, and brown. Black framed windows are visible on either side of the door. Sconce-style light fixtures are mounted on the stone facade on either side of the door. Two black planters, each containing a small, round shrub, flank the entrance. A rectangular doormat with a diamond pattern is placed in front of the door. The steps leading to the entrance are made of light-colored stone.
