Mahogany Entry Door With Sidelights, Diamond Accents, and Arched Transom
Overview
Design of a Iowa single with partial scroll design for southwestern homes. With rustic brown.
Description
The door is a dark, stained wood, likely mahogany or a similar rich-toned wood. It features a central, vertically-oriented panel with raised, narrow vertical slats punctuated by evenly spaced, dark metal studs or nail heads along the top and bottom. The door has two vertical sidelights flanking each side, each containing a tall, narrow window divided into smaller panes by a dark metal or wood framework. The sidelights incorporate a decorative diamond-shaped glass insert. Above the door and sidelights is a large, arched transom window with ornate, dark metal scrollwork. The door has a dark metal handle and lock hardware. The doorframe and surrounding architectural elements are a light beige or stucco color. The entrance is recessed under an arched opening, creating a defined entryway. The architectural style is traditional or Mediterranean-inspired.
