Arched Blueprint Door With Sunburst Metalwork and Studded Wood Panel
Overview
Design of a Iowa wine cellar door with design for spanish colonial homes.
Description
The door is a blueprint design featuring an arched top section above a rectangular lower section. The upper section consists of an ornate metalwork design. This metalwork includes a sunburst pattern at the center, surrounded by grape vines with leaves and grapes. The metalwork also has decorative swirls and stylized fleur-de-lis designs. The lower section appears to be a solid wood panel door. The wood panel is adorned with evenly spaced circular studs or nail heads. Two horizontal rails frame the panel at the top and bottom. These rails are decorated with metal arrowhead-shaped accents. The door has a decorative handle and escutcheon plate on the right side. The drawing is in blue ink on a white or off-white background. The door design includes hinges on the left side. The door appears to be for a single entry.
