Ornate Arched Iron Double Door With Stone Archway and Decorative Scrollwork
Overview
A double arched door with metal bars and decorative scrollwork, set within a stone archway with light fixtures and flanked by planters and brick pavers.
Description
The door is a double arched door, constructed primarily of a dark metal, likely iron or steel. Each door has a series of vertical bars that run from the base to the arch, creating a cage-like effect. The upper section of the door frame is also metal and features elaborate, decorative scrollwork. The frame forms a large arch above the doors. The doors are set within a stone archway. The stone is light colored. The archway is constructed of rectangular blocks. There is a light fixture hanging inside the doorway, visible through the metalwork. There are sconce-type light fixtures mounted on the stone wall on either side of the door. These fixtures are black with glass covers. The doorway is flanked by two large white planters containing spiraled evergreen trees. The ground leading to the door is paved with rectangular brick pavers arranged in a herringbone pattern. The wall surrounding the door is constructed of the same light colored rectangular stones. There are two arched windows, one on each side of the door. The windows have white frames and multiple panes. The trim around the arched doorway is smooth and lighter in color than the surrounding stone. The background visible through the door appears to be a patterned wall.
