Arched Mahogany Double Doors With Wrought Iron and Decorative Stonework
Overview
Design of a Kansas glass paneled with arabesque pattern design for spanish colonial homes. With oil-rubbed bronze.
Description
The entrance features a double door set within an arched opening. The doors are dark wood, possibly stained mahogany or a similar rich-toned wood, and each has a large glass panel occupying the upper portion. Overlaid on the glass is an intricate, wrought-iron design consisting of scrolling and stylized floral patterns. The lower portion of each door is solid wood, featuring a gentle curve that mirrors the arch above. The hardware appears to be dark, possibly wrought iron or a blackened metal, consisting of long vertical handles. The arched opening is framed by decorative stonework or plasterwork featuring an elaborate, symmetrical, floral-inspired pattern in a light color, likely off-white or cream. Above the arch is a shallow, curved roof extension, trimmed with a dark molding that matches the eaves of the house. The surrounding wall is a light beige or stucco finish. Flanking the door are matching arched windows. Black lantern-style sconces are mounted on the wall on either side of the door. The walkway leading to the door is paved with multi-colored, natural stone tiles. A simple rectangular coir mat is placed directly in front of the door.
