Overview
Design of a Kansas wine cellar door with design for craftsman homes.
Description
The door is a double arched door, constructed primarily of dark metal, possibly iron or steel. The door frame and surrounding arched stonework are of a light brown hue. The arched stone framework is constructed of rectangular blocks. Above the arch, at the apex, is a stylized wheat or leaf design. The door is divided into two panels, each hinged to open outward. The upper portion of each door panel contains intricate metal scrollwork depicting grape vines and clusters. A circular window is set in the center of the door, just below the arch's apex. Behind the circular window, wine bottles are visible. The lower portion of each door panel is solid, with a rectangular raised panel. The door handles are metal and shaped like grape clusters. The background wall is constructed of irregularly shaped stone blocks in varying shades of light brown and tan. The floor is made of light-colored wooden planks.
