Grand Arched Entryway With Wrought Iron Details and Stained Wood Doors

Overview

Design of a Kentucky wrought iron steel frame with arabesque pattern design for mountain lodge homes. With brushed steel.

Description

a grand double front door. The doors are dark brown, possibly stained wood or a dark metal finish. Each door features a large, rectangular glass panel framed by intricate black wrought iron scrollwork. The design of the wrought iron creates a diamond-like pattern within the glass. Flanking the double doors are two narrow sidelights, each also featuring a similar glass panel and wrought iron design. Above the double doors and sidelights is a large, arched transom window. The transom window also features black wrought iron scrollwork, more elaborate and flowing than the designs on the doors and sidelights. The transom is set into an arched opening with a light beige keystone. The entire door assembly is framed by light beige pilasters that extend up to the arch. The surrounding exterior walls are constructed of multi-colored stone, primarily in shades of beige, tan, and light brown. On either side of the door, there are dark brown framed windows and black sconce-style light fixtures. Potted green plants sit on either side of the door at ground level. A patterned doormat lies in front of the doors. The style appears to be a blend of traditional and ornamental, possibly Tuscan or Mediterranean influenced.
