Overview
Design of a Massachusetts exterior door with classic scrollwork design for french provincial homes. With pewter.
Description
The door is a double entry type with a dark gray finish. Each door panel features a vertical rectangular glass insert with a decorative, stylized floral or leaf pattern within. The door panels have raised molding detailing, including curved elements near the top of each panel. Above the double doors is a large transom window, also with a decorative wrought iron overlay. The entire door assembly is framed by a wide, white-painted trim that includes two fluted pilasters on either side. An arched pediment tops the door frame, mirroring the curve of the transom window. The exterior wall is clad in horizontal gray siding. Two sconce-style light fixtures flank the door, one on each side, emitting a warm yellow light. A small welcome mat sits in front of the doors on a brick walkway. Two small, rounded bushes sit in front of the walkway with small glowing lights.
