Craftsman Style Dark Wood Front Door With Arched Transom and Sidelights
Overview
Design of a Michigan front entry door with minimalist design for japanese zen homes. With champagne. farmhouse decoration.
Description
The door is a dark, possibly stained wood, with a raised panel design consisting of two large rectangular panels on the lower half and five smaller rectangular panels on the upper half, separated by horizontal and vertical mullions. An arched transom window sits above the door, divided into panes by similar mullions. Flanking the door are sidelights, each with long vertical panes of glass. The doorframe and trim are the same dark color as the door. A wide brass kickplate is at the base of the door. The handle is a dark metal with a curved, traditional design. The style appears to be a modern take on a traditional or craftsman design. The door is set back under a deep porch roof with recessed lighting. The front of the house features horizontal siding in a light tan color. Two black lantern-style lights hang on either side of the door. The steps leading to the door are made of natural stone. Two large potted plants with rounded shrubs sit on either side of the entrance.
