Grand Arched Double Door With Decorative Ironwork and Dark Wood Finish

Overview

Design of a Minnesota wrought iron steel frame with asian-inspired design for mediterranean homes. With gloss black.

Description

The door is a grand, double-door entrance with an arched transom above. The doors themselves are dark, possibly black or a very dark brown, and appear to be made of wood or a wood composite material. Each door has a prominent arched top section with a window featuring decorative metalwork. Vertical panels with similar metalwork and glass flank each door. The transom window above the doors is a large semi-circle filled with elaborate wrought iron scrollwork, radiating lines, and decorative flourishes. The archway surrounding the transom is painted black, creating a strong contrast with the light beige or tan color of the surrounding walls. The overall style is ornate and classical, with a touch of Mediterranean or Spanish influence. The hardware on the doors, including the handles, is also black. A doormat with a diamond pattern lies in front of the doors. The exterior walls of the house are a light beige or tan, and the trim around the windows and roofline is black, echoing the color of the door and archway. Small wall-mounted lanterns are on either side of the door.
