Description
The door is a grand entryway with a central door and two sidelights, topped by an arched transom window. The door and sidelights feature a decorative wrought iron overlay with a pattern of swirling curves, scrolls, and quatrefoil motifs, set against clear glass. The door itself is a dark gray or charcoal color, possibly painted wood or metal, with recessed panels at the bottom. The door handle is a simple, elongated vertical bar in black. The sidelights are narrow vertical panels flanking the door, also with the same wrought iron and glass design. The arched transom window above the door repeats the wrought iron scrollwork. The entire door frame and trim are painted bright white, creating a strong contrast with the door color and the surrounding wall. The wall surrounding the door is a deep red or terracotta color. Two black gas lanterns are mounted on either side of the door, with clear glass panes. White shuttered windows are partially visible on either side of the door assembly. Two white, classical-style urns filled with rounded green shrubs flank the base of the door. A small red patterned rug lies in front of the door on a tiled surface. The architectural style appears to be a blend of Mediterranean and traditional elements.
