Mediterranean Style Wood Door With Iron Grille and Arched Transom

Overview

Design of a Mississippi wrought iron single with modern design for southwestern homes. With brushed steel.

Description

The door is a dark brown, possibly wood or a wood-like material, with iron or wrought iron decorative elements. It's a single door with a rectangular shape and an arched top. The upper portion of the door features a decorative iron grille with a curved design. Below the grille is a glass pane allowing visibility. The lower portion of the door is solid with a rectangular raised panel. The door is flanked by two narrow sidelights, each with vertical iron bars and glass panels. Above the door and sidelights is a large, arched transom window filled with an elaborate, sunburst-patterned ironwork design. The entire door assembly is set within a recessed arched doorway constructed of a light tan or beige stucco material. The stucco arch is smooth and curves gently. The overall style is Mediterranean or Spanish Colonial. The hardware on the door appears to be dark, possibly black or bronze. Two black sconce lights are mounted on the stucco wall on either side of the door. The house exterior is a light tan color with dark window frames and a red tile roof. A brown doormat with a geometric pattern lies in front of the door on a light gray concrete walkway.
