Arched Wrought Iron Door With Grape Vine Design and Stone Frame 1
Overview
Design of a Missouri wine cellar door with design for traditional american homes.
Description
The door is an arched, wrought-iron design with a grape vine motif. The ironwork forms a diamond lattice pattern with grape leaves and bunches of grapes incorporated into the design. The door frame is dark metal. Behind the ironwork is a translucent, copper-colored panel. Two long, decorative metal handles are vertically mounted on the door. The door is set within an arched stone frame constructed of irregularly shaped stones in shades of gray, brown, and tan. The walls surrounding the door are constructed of brick on one side and mixed stone on the other. The brick is predominantly red, with some bricks showing darker, almost black coloration. The stone wall features stones of varying sizes and colors, ranging from light tan to darker gray-brown. Above the door arch, the wall transitions to cedar shingles. A rectangular window is positioned above the arched stone frame. The ground in front of the door is paved with flat stones.
