Ornate Arched Double Doors With Decorative Glass and Iron Fanlight
Overview
Design of a Missouri wrought iron double with geometric pattern design for minimalist homes. With oil-rubbed bronze.
Description
The door is a double door made of dark wood, possibly mahogany or a similar stained hardwood. Each door panel features an arched top with a decorative glass insert that has a complex, stylized floral or foliate design in a darker metal or leading. Flanking the main doors are narrow sidelight windows, also with similar decorative glass inserts. Above the doors is a large, semi-circular arched window with an elaborate wrought iron grid pattern. The ironwork includes geometric and floral motifs, creating a decorative fanlight. The doorframe and surrounding architectural elements are painted a light beige or stucco color. The door hardware, including handles, is dark and appears to be metal. A patterned doormat sits in front of the door. The overall style is ornate and evokes a Mediterranean or Tuscan architectural aesthetic.
