Mediterranean Double Door With Arched Transom, Decorative Ironwork, and Sidelights
Overview
Design of a Nevada double with ornate design for contemporary homes. With weathered copper.
Description
The door is a double door made of wood, likely mahogany or a similar hardwood, with a rich, reddish-brown stain and a glossy finish. Each door has a raised panel design with a curved upper edge. Flanking each door are narrow sidelights featuring decorative ironwork and glass panels. Above the doors and sidelights is a large arched transom window, also filled with decorative ironwork and clear glass. The ironwork is intricate, featuring floral and scroll motifs. The doorframe and transom frame are stained to match the doors. Black handles are installed on each door. A rectangular doormat in a muted brown tone lies in front of the door. The style appears to be Mediterranean or Spanish Colonial Revival.
