Mediterranean Double Doors With Ironwork, Glass Panels, and Arched Transom
Overview
Design of a Nevada wrought iron double with asian-inspired design for southwestern homes. With rustic brown.
Description
The entry features a double door system crafted from wood, likely mahogany or a similar hardwood, with a rich, dark brown stain. Each door is inset with panels of decorative ironwork and glass. The ironwork consists of swirling, stylized floral and geometric motifs, partially obscuring the view through the glass. The doors have long, dark metal handles. Above the doors is a matching arched transom window, also filled with the same elaborate ironwork design. The door is set within an arched entryway of stucco or a similar textured material, painted in a warm beige or light brown tone. Flanking the door are two outdoor lanterns, black in color, mounted on the wall. Below each lantern are potted plants, featuring small palm-like trees in black, rounded pots. A decorative doormat with a sunburst design lies on the step in front of the doors. The overall architectural style appears to be Mediterranean or Spanish Colonial Revival.
