Arched Double Front Door With Wrought Iron and Glass Detailing
Overview
Design of a New Mexico wrought iron double with mediterranean scrollwork design for mountain lodge homes. With oil-rubbed bronze.
Description
The double front door is a rich, dark wood with arched tops, each door panel featuring an intricate wrought-iron design over glass. Flanking each door are narrow side lights with similar wrought-iron and glass detailing. Above the doors is a matching arched transom window, also adorned with a decorative wrought-iron scrollwork pattern. The door frame and transom are a slightly lighter shade of wood than the doors themselves. The entrance is set within a larger arched opening in a textured, light beige stucco wall. On either side of the door, stone pillars provide architectural support, topped with a smooth stone cap. Black, vintage-style lanterns are mounted on the wall on either side of the doorway, providing symmetrical lighting. A patterned doormat lies just outside the entrance on the tiled walkway.
