Elegant Black Entrance Door With Oval Glass, Sidelights, and Arched Transom
Overview
Design of a North Carolina single with classic scrollwork design for french provincial homes. With pewter.
Description
A grand entrance door is the focal point, featuring a black finish. The door itself has an oval-shaped glass insert in the center. Flanking the main door are two narrow sidelights, each with diamond-patterned glass inserts. Above the door and sidelights is a large, arched transom window with a decorative wrought iron design resembling a stylized sunburst. The door frame is accentuated by two white columns with decorative capitals, supporting an arched pediment above the door. The exterior wall is a muted taupe or gray. Two ornate, black lanterns are mounted on either side of the door, illuminating the entrance. The walkway leading to the door is paved with light brown and tan bricks arranged in a herringbone pattern. Small, manicured green bushes line the walkway. The overall architectural style appears to be traditional or neo-classical.
