Description
The door is a dark brown, possibly mahogany or a similar wood, with an arched top. It is a double door, meaning it has two panels that open. Each panel is divided into sections. The main section of each door has a smaller arched window with decorative, possibly leaded or stained, glass. Flanking each main door panel are narrow, vertical side lights, also with decorative glass. Above the main doors are rectangular windows with similar decorative glass. Above these windows is an arched transom window with a wrought iron design. The door is framed by a large, white archway with decorative columns on either side. The columns have ornate capitals. The glass in the windows appears to be beveled or etched with floral and geometric patterns. The door hardware, including the handles, appears to be a dark metal, possibly bronze or wrought iron. The door is set into a wall with a textured, tan or beige finish. There are sconces on either side of the door, casting warm light. Large planters with greenery flank the entrance. The entrance is accessed by a set of stone steps.
