Craftsman Style Arched Entry Door With Sidelights and Stone Pillars
Overview
Design of a Ohio solid panel with geometric pattern design for mountain lodge homes. With weathered copper.
Description
The door is a rich, dark wood, possibly mahogany or a similar hardwood, with a prominent vertical grain. It features a half-round arched window at the top, covered with a decorative metal grille. Below the window, the door has a horizontal band of wood with evenly spaced vertical slats or decorative pegs. The door is flanked by two narrow sidelights of the same wood, each with rectangular panes of glass at the top, separated by vertical metal bars. Above the door and sidelights is a large, arched transom window with multiple vertical metal bars. The door and sidelights are framed by a dark, possibly bronze or dark brown, molding. The entryway is supported by stone pillars on either side, constructed from layered, irregularly shaped stones in shades of tan, brown, and gray. The house facade is clad in light beige vertical siding, with dark brown trim around the windows, roofline, and decorative wooden brackets that support the roof overhang. A brown welcome mat lies in front of the door. The style appears to be a blend of Craftsman and rustic architectural elements.
