Arched Double Door With Vine Metalwork, Glass Panels, and Terra Cotta Planters
Overview
Design of a Pennsylvania wine cellar door with design for southwestern homes.
Description
The door is a double door with an arched top, constructed of dark brown metal and glass. Intricate metalwork depicting a vine with leaves and grapes covers much of the glass panels. The doorframe is also dark brown metal. The doorway is set within a stone archway, built with light brown rectangular stones. A small roof overhangs the doorway, covered with red clay tiles. The roof is supported by decorative wooden beams. The building facade adjacent to the doorway is stucco on one side and more of the light brown rectangular stone on the other. A small, dark metal sconce is affixed to the stone wall. Two large terra cotta pots, each filled with green plants and orange flowers, flank the entrance. The walkway leading to the door is paved with stone.
