Arched Glass Paneled Door With Sidelights, Black Mullions, and Modern Planters
Overview
Design of a South Carolina single with minimalist design for mid-century modern homes. With charcoal.
Description
The door is dark gray, possibly charcoal or a very deep slate gray. It's a paneled door with a prominent, arched glass insert at the top. Vertical recessed panels run the length of the door. The door has a long, rectangular metal pull handle, possibly brass or gold-toned, and a traditional keyhole and lock set, also in a similar metal finish. The door is flanked by narrow sidelights with multiple panes of glass separated by black mullions. Above the door and sidelights is a horizontal row of rectangular glass panes, also divided by black mullions. Above the horizontal row of panes is a large, arched glass window. The entire door and window structure is framed by a black architrave. The door is set within a white facade, supported by white columns on either side, topped with decorative capitals. The architrave is connected to the roofline with a dark gray trim. The overall style is modern with classical elements, featuring clean lines and a sophisticated color palette. A wooden door mat with a circular cutout is placed in front of the door. Two tall, rectangular planters in a dark color flank the entrance, each containing a leafy plant. Green shrubbery lines the base of the building on either side of the entrance.
