Arched Wrought Iron Gate With Grape Motif in Stone Entryway
Overview
Design of a South Carolina wine cellar door with design for french country homes.
Description
The door is a large, arched, wrought-iron gate with a dark bronze or black finish. The design is intricate, featuring vertical bars intersected by horizontal elements at the top and bottom, with swirling decorative patterns and grape and leaf motifs integrated throughout the ironwork. The door is set into an arched stone entryway constructed of irregularly shaped stones in shades of tan, beige, and brown. A gabled roof with brown wooden trim and reddish-brown shingles overhangs the entryway. The door has a circular handle at the center, also made of metal, with a ring pull. The door appears to be set behind glass panels that offer privacy while still allowing light to pass through. Vines are growing on the stone wall adjacent to the door on both sides. The ground in front of the door is covered with small gravel and flagstone pavers.
