Arched Bronze Door With Grapevine Scrollwork and Textured Oval Window
Overview
Design of a South Dakota wine cellar door with design for mediterranean homes.
Description
The door has an arched top and an oval-shaped glass window in its center. The frame is constructed of a dark, possibly bronze-colored metal. The metal is decorated with stylized grape leaves and vine-like scrollwork. A sculpture of a bunch of grapes hangs in front of the glass. The glass is textured, obscuring the view into the room behind the door. The room contains wine bottles on shelves and two wooden barrels. The door is set into a wall constructed of rough-cut, irregularly shaped stones in shades of brown and tan. The roof above the door is covered with reddish-brown terracotta tiles. The ground in front of the door is paved with large, irregularly shaped flagstones of a similar color to the wall stones.
