Ornate Arched Wrought Iron Double Door With Glass Panels and Sidelights
Overview
Design of a Texas wrought iron french door with ornate design for scandinavian homes. With graphite.
Description
The door is a double door, appearing to be made of dark metal, possibly wrought iron or steel, with glass panels. Each door panel features an arched top and is divided into sections by decorative metalwork. The metalwork includes intricate scroll designs and geometric shapes within the glass panels. Flanking each door are narrow sidelights also filled with glass and similar metalwork designs. Above the doors and sidelights is a large arched transom window with elaborate wrought iron scrollwork, offering an ornate and decorative element above the entrance. The entire door assembly is set within a recessed arched entryway, which is painted a light beige or cream color. The entryway is framed by two square pillars with simple decorative capitals. The pillars are the same light beige as the surrounding wall. The architectural style is reminiscent of Mediterranean or Tuscan design. The door hardware includes long, slender handles with a dark finish. A rectangular doormat with a dark border and a central geometric design lies in front of the door on a light gray stone or tile entryway.
