Arched Mahogany Entry Door With Decorative Glass Sidelights and Transom Window
Overview
Design of a Virginia glass paneled with french lattice design for french country homes. With weathered copper.
Description
The door is a dark wood, likely stained mahogany or a similar hardwood, and features an arched design. Above the main door is a large, semi-circular transom window divided into multiple panes by a dark wood grid. The door itself has an arched top and decorative glass panels with a leaded or decorative overlay design. Flanking the main door are sidelights, also with decorative glass panels and wood frames. The sidelights are divided into two sections, with a solid wood panel at the bottom and glass above. The entire door and sidelight assembly is framed by a dark wood architrave, which is then surrounded by a white stucco archway. The style appears to be a blend of traditional and contemporary, possibly Mediterranean influenced. The door hardware is dark, probably bronze or black. A rectangular mat with a dark diamond design is placed in front of the door.
