Arched Double Doors With Sunburst Transom Window and Brick Surround
Overview
Design of a Virginia wrought iron double with industrial grid design for modern farmhouse homes. With weathered copper.
Description
The door is a double door design with an arched transom window above. The door and transom are dark brown or black, possibly stained wood or painted metal. Each door panel features eight rectangular glass panes arranged in a grid pattern over a solid wood lower panel. The transom window is arched and contains multiple curved and straight mullions creating a sunburst or fan-like pattern. The door frame is white and features a prominent arch that mirrors the transom window. The surrounding wall is constructed of multi-colored brick in shades of tan, brown, and reddish-brown. Two lantern-style sconces flank the door, one on each side. The sconces are black. To the sides of the doorway are black framed windows. The entryway is concrete, and a rectangular doormat with a dark, ornate design is placed in front of the doors. Two small, rounded bushes are positioned on either side of the walkway leading to the door. A small, square address plaque is on the right side of the doorframe.
