Arched Entry Door With Wrought Iron, Sidelights, and Stone Archway
Overview
Design of a Virginia wrought iron double with partial scroll design for cape cod homes. With gloss black.
Description
The door is a dark, possibly black, arched entryway with decorative wrought iron detailing in the glass panes. The door itself is a single unit with sidelights, also containing decorative ironwork. The door appears to be made of wood or a composite material. The archway surrounding the door is constructed of multi-colored stones in varying shades of gray, tan, and brown. Above the stone arch is a smaller, curved roof supported by dark brown beams. A lantern-style light fixture hangs above the door, centered within the arch. Flanking the entryway are white, fluted columns with decorative capitals. Similar lantern light fixtures are mounted on the stone wall on either side of the door. The porch floor is paved with large, rectangular stones. A dark-edged, rectangular doormat with a diamond pattern sits in front of the door.
