Elegant Dark Paneled Front Door With Arched Transom and Sidelights
Overview
Design of a Washington pivot with asian-inspired design for traditional american homes. With graphite.
Description
A grand, dark-colored front door is centered beneath a large, semi-circular transom window divided into numerous panes. The door itself is paneled, with a rectangular knocker and a traditional doorknob and lock set. Flanking the door are sidelights with decorative diamond-patterned glass inserts. The door frame and sidelight frames are black, matching the door color. Supporting the arched transom are two substantial, white, fluted columns on either side of the door. The columns rest on wide, square bases. The exterior walls surrounding the door are covered in gray shingles. Above the door and columns, there is a dark roof overhang. Lantern-style sconces are mounted on the walls beside each column. A gray stone walkway leads to the door, with a rectangular brown doormat placed directly in front of the door. The overall architectural style appears to be traditional or transitional.
