Tudor Front Door With Diamond Glass Insert and Wrought Iron Transom
Overview
Design of a West Virginia wrought iron solid panel with arabesque pattern design for craftsman homes. With weathered copper.
Description
The front door is a rich, dark brown wood, possibly mahogany or walnut, with vertical paneling on the lower third and a decorative diamond-shaped glass insert in the center of the upper section. Small circular metal accents border the lower paneled section and the diamond glass. The door is flanked by narrow sidelights with intricate, decorative glass patterns in black and clear glass. Above the door and sidelights is an arched transom window filled with ornate, swirling wrought-iron detailing. The door frame and trim are dark brown, matching the door color. The architectural style appears to be Tudor-inspired, with a gabled porch roof supported by dark brown posts. The house siding is a light beige or tan stucco. Black, rectangular sconces flank the doorway on either side. A brown doormat with a decorative pattern lies in front of the door on a light grey stone walkway.
