Mediterranean Double Doors With Wrought Iron Grille and Semicircular Transom
Overview
Design of a Wyoming arched double with french lattice design for coastal homes. With brushed steel.
Description
a grand entryway with a double door system. The doors are made of dark stained wood, possibly mahogany or a similar rich-toned hardwood. Each door panel features a decorative wrought iron grille overlaying clear glass. The ironwork has a floral or scrollwork pattern. Above the double doors is a large semicircular transom window, also filled with a wrought iron design that echoes the pattern on the doors but with a radial, sunburst-like arrangement. The transom is framed with the same dark wood as the doors. The entire door system is set within a prominent architectural archway, which is painted white or a very light cream color. This archway is flanked by decorative pilasters with simple, classical capitals. The wall surrounding the doorway is a light beige stucco or plaster. On either side of the door are symmetrically placed windows with dark frames that match the door color. Lantern-style sconces are mounted on the wall beside each window. The ground leading to the door is a light gray concrete walkway. There are small, manicured shrubs planted along the walkway, adding a touch of greenery. A simple, rectangular doormat is positioned directly in front of the doors. The overall architectural style suggests a Mediterranean or Tuscan influence.
