Description
The door is a solid, dark wood, possibly stained a deep brown or walnut color. It has a single, raised rectangular panel in the lower portion and a larger, similar panel above. The door is set within a deeply recessed entryway, framed by thick, adobe-style walls, painted a warm, light tan or beige color. Above the door frame is a decorative wooden lintel or beam structure, also stained a similar dark wood color, with exposed rafter tails or vigas protruding horizontally. The door hardware consists of a dark-colored handle and lock set. The style of the door and surrounding architecture strongly suggests a Southwestern or Santa Fe design. The walls appear to be stucco or a similar textured material. The entryway is shaded and relatively plain, emphasizing the solidity and simplicity of the door design. A dark doormat is placed in front of the door.
